Brush Transformers designs and manufactures sealed dry type transformers up to 5MVA, 22kV, Class 220 insulated, for use indoors or outdoors. Higher ratings can be accommodated for special applications.
Class 220 insulation has superior thermal stability, high resistance to moisture and is impervious to deterioration by ageing. This range has enclosures with a degree of ingress protection in excess of IP55. The product is suitable for wet or dusty environments and hazardous area applications where liquid-filled units may present a fire risk.
